Oras Group has completed the acquisition of the Gustavsberg and Vatette businesses and brands. Through this step, the company aims to establish a leading position in the bathroom segment in the Nordics, says CEO Kari Lehtinen.
Gustavsberg and Vatette, known for their high-quality bathroom products and complete tap water systems, have now become part of Oras Group. Today, Oras Group finalised the previously announced share transaction with Villeroy & Boch AG.
The acquisition includes the brands and 330 employees, as well as all related operations in the Nordics, including a production facility and warehouse in Sweden. Going forward, Oras Group’s portfolio will consist of the Oras, Hansa, Gustavsberg, and Vatette brands.
The transaction marks a significant step for Oras Group in building future growth. Last year, Oras Group’s net sales amounted to EUR 200 million, while Gustavsberg’s were EUR 93 million. With this acquisition, Oras Group aims to establish a leading position in the Nordics, according to CEO Kari Lehtinen.
Kari Lehtinen:
“This acquisition is more than just the sum of its parts. We are now becoming even better positioned to meet customer needs with the right products and brands across different sales channels and markets. Through our brands, we are present in people’s everyday lives, and we want to have an even stronger presence in the future.”
